It will attempt to define the characteristics of Nubian art, emphasizing how it differs from Egyptian art to which it is often — but incorrectly — unfavorably compared. Dr. Rita Freed, curator emerita at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts, explores Nubia’s artistic richness.
