515 Malcolm X Boulevard, New York, United States
Celebrate Juneteenth with a walking tour of some of the most iconic locations in Harlem including the Abyssinian Baptist Church, Harlem Walk of Fame, Harlem Hospital outdoor murals, and Strivers Row. As we walk, you will enjoy the lovely brownstone architecture and wide boulevards of Harlem. This is an opportunity to observe the ways in which great African Americans are honored throughout Harlem.
*Please keep this in mind before you register. The library commits to purchasing a certain number of tickets before the event. "No shows" cost us money and prohibit someone else from attending.
Meeting Place: Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, 515 Malcolm X Blvd. (AKA Lenox Ave.) at the corner of W. 135th Street. The 2/3 train stops in front of the Schomburg.
