Her work has been published in 17 books and is in the collections of the Museum of Arts and Design in NYC, the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution, the Newark Museum, and the Racine Museum.Steve FordFord/Forlano is an self-taught creative partnership making jewelry in Philadelphia and Santa Fe since 1988. Ford and Forlano send work back and forth between their two studios until it feels alive to both artists. They work to transform polymer, a man-made material, into pieces that look like they were found in nature. Their work is in many public and private collections around the US and Europe.Mary Hallam PearseMary Hallam Pearse received her M.F.A. in Metal from SUNY New Paltz and a B.F.A. in Crafts with an emphasis in Jewelry and Metals from Kent State University. Her work centers around the symbolic and emotive resonance of jewelry and potent materials and how they participate in culture. Shifting scale, moving from image to object to material conditions, her workdramatically changes directions prompted by life events.Biba SchutzBiba Schutz is a true New Yorker. Born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens and for the past 40 years, Manhattan has been her home. A self-taught jeweler, she has challenged her curiosity and developed her skills to create her voice.
