They formerly served as Communications Coordinator for Pueblo Action Alliance (PAA), a grassroots organization advancing climate justice and community defense for Pueblo peoples. In that role, Somah worked with the Greater Chaco Coalition to protect the remaining 7% of the Greater Chaco Region from oil and gas extraction while amplifying Pueblo-led movements for environmental and cultural sovereignty.
