Equal parts word and image, “Re/collecting” invites viewers to reflect on their own belongings—and to perhaps reconsider what’s kept in their closets! About the ArtistCarolyn Louth grew up in a small town near New Orleans and pursued her passion for the arts with a BFA from Louisiana State University. After graduating, she moved to Atlanta where she joined the creative team at HowStuffWorks and also started playing ultimate frisbee. In 2005, she made the leap to New York, and as a freelance art director, designed print and digital materials for clients in many different fields. A desire to focus her work on sustainability and advocacy efforts led her to complete the IMPACT! Design for Social Change residency program at the School of Visual Arts in 2013.
