After earning his degree in viticulture and enology from UC Davis, he joined the Robert Mondavi Winery team in 1974, where he helped guide wine research, contributed to the development of Napa Valley’s appellation system, and mentored generations of winemakers. His work has also extended internationally, with pivotal roles in creating renowned wines including Opus One in Napa Valley, Ornellaia and Luce in Italy, and Seña in Chile.Following the sale of the Robert Mondavi wine business in 2003, Tim joined his father Robert and sister Marcia to establish Continuum—an estate founded on the family’s enduring connection to Napa Valley and their shared pursuit of exceptional wine. This is a special chance to hear that story directly from Tim while discovering the wines that carry it forward.Featured Wines:Continuum Estate: Sentium Sauvignon Blanc 2023Continuum Estate: Proprietary Napa Red 2022An evening for lovers of Napa Valley, great wine, and the stories behind the bottle—offering an intimate look at one of the region’s most influential wine families and the estate they created for the future.
