She has exhibited her paintings at the Queens Public Library at Flushing, the Flushing Town Hall and has received Honorable Mentions at the Queens County Fair. Her work has been recognized for its beauty and creativity, and she has been a part of the cultural fabric of Flushing for over thirty years.About JordanJordan Knoxx, a Hollis, Queens native, began her journey as a standout basketball player before shifting her focus to academics at the University of Delaware, where she discovered her voice as a powerful performance poet. Her breakthrough piece, “The Wrong One,” established her reputation for raw, truth-driven artistry and led to her evolution from spoken word to Hip Hop. Knoxx went on to release multiple projects, perform across various platforms—including WBAI’s “The Hip Hop Takeover”—and develop a reputation for fearless, conscious storytelling.
