When a devout neighbor discovers their secret, he threatens to ruin their lives. The shop keeper struggles to navigate the situation hoping to find a way out. The discussion will focus on the creation of the piece and its upcoming production. There will be six performances at ATA’s Sergent Theater between June 29 and July 12, with specific dates to be announced in April.About the PlaywrightBarry M. Putt, Jr. (playwright)Barry M. Putt, Jr. is an accomplished playwright and screenwriter whose work explores themes of identity, resilience, and human connection. Omeed’s Tapestries was inspired by over three dozen firsthand accounts, interviews, and extensive research into the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals facing persecution.
