Whether you are new to the PEC or have been engaged for years, we look forward to a day together in New York City. Our time will be centered around relationship-building and spiritual exploration as we seek to collectively (re)imagine the future of life-giving, Jesus-centered spirituality. As individuals, as members of local communities, and as contributors to a broader movement, we will consider questions like: Who are we? What are we for? And what are we building? We will have the opportunity to hear and respond to a talk from notable Christian ethicist, and PEC Wisdom Board member, Dr. David P. Gushee, who will share his perspective on the future of the post-evangelical movement; eat a delicious lunch together from Sahara’s Turkish Cuisine; and have lots of opportunities to get to know one another and connect over shared interests and questions. It’s going to be a great day and we can’t wait to spend it with you!Sliding-Scale Ticket ModelWe want all who are interested to be able to join the gathering, so we are selling tickets using a sliding-scale model. You may purchase a ticket for $50, $40, $30, $20, $10, $0, or a donation amount of your choice. Ticket fees will go toward covering the costs of coffee, pastries, lunch, supplies, and speaker fees. Thank you in advance for your generous support of the PEC and for helping us to make this an accessible event!Event SponsorsThis event is brought to you by the Post-Evangelical Collective, River NYC, Everyday Church, and Forefront Church.About the Post-Evangelical CollectiveThe Post-Evangelical Collective (PEC) exists to connect, cultivate, and resource post-evangelical churches and leaders. Our vision for a life-giving faith community is shaped by our conviction that God is unconditional love. Practically speaking, this means that (among other things) we place no limitations on women in leadership, that we fully affirm LGBTQ+ individuals and relationships, and that we are committed to the work of antiracism and creation care. When you come to the River, we hope that you will feel refreshed, affirmed, and excited to be part of a community that is pursuing abundant life together. We'd love for you to join us in person or online!" } ] } ] ```
