So Caballero and his mother picked up something new—glue, cardboard, and tiny handmade figures of the people and homes they'd lost—and started rebuilding what they couldn't hold onto any other way. TheyDream is a documentary that blends stop-motion, hand-drawn animation, and home-movie footage into a single, tactile record of loss.
