Emcee by Nobuko Okamoto
Drina Seay:
Known for lending her harmony vocals to many of the NYC country scene’s local luminaries, Drina steps into the spotlight with her own mix of folk, country, and rock originals at Young Ethel’s, joined by guitarist Shu Nakamura. After taking a few years away from performing, she returns with a fresh outlook on her heartfelt repertoire, though her fondness for the minor key remains firmly intact.
Baikin
Baikin is a Japunklyn Rock power trio based in Brooklyn, NYC. Formed in 2021, they blend Japanese punk attitude with indie-rock sensibilities, delivering high‑energy performances. Fronted by Ai Matsui (guitar & vocals), with Eri Tada on bass and Shu Nakamura on drums & vocals, they’ve carved out three years of vibrant DIY shows and catchy originals. Known for their raw sound, playful spirit, and unforgettable live presence, Baikin represents the evolving NYC Japanese‑Brooklyn underground scene.
S.N.B. (Shu Nakamura Band)
Led by Shu Nakamura, a Nagoya-Japan-born, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and producer, S.N.B. delivers Japanese-style rock with heart and originality.
When he’s not collaborating with top musicians across Japan, New York, and beyond, Shu pours his soul into this project - performing his own dynamic, melodic songs.
Fresh off the release of his 9th solo album “Koo” (Oct 1), Shu will be joined by Derek Cheever (bass; Rome56, Hotel Chaos, etc.) and rising young drummer Takuto Fukushima (from Japan) for a powerful set.
