With no audition requirements and open arms for all who share a love of singing, the choir has grown into one of the most active Chinese choral organizations in the New York area, with over 450 cumulative members in under three years.Tonight, all four of Xinsheng's ensembles come together: the Children's Choir, the Flushing Choir, the Manhattan Choir, and the Chamber Choir — our founding ensemble, now in its eighth season.Xinsheng is dedicated to performing Chinese-language music overseas, singing the melodies that resonate with the Chinese diaspora, while continually elevating its artistry through collaborations with talented composers and musicians. In 2025, the choir was invited to perform at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, and in July of that year, at Carnegie Hall.Tonight marks Xinsheng's largest solo concert to date.
