She also hosts a weekly WSJ podcast, "This Week in Markets." In 2020, she won the “Front Page Award for Specialized Reporting” from the Newswomen’s Club of New York. Fontana is a graduate of the University of Oregon’s Clark Honors College, where she began the initial work for her debut book, The Family Snitch: A Daughter’s Memoir of Truth and Lies (Steerforth Press; February 2026).  She lives in Brooklyn with her cat, Jiji. ABOUT THE MODERATORNina St. Pierre is a queer essayist and culture writer whose work has appeared in Elle, GQ, Harper's Bazaar, Gossamer, Nylon, Outside, Columbia Journal, Bitch, Catapult, and more. She is a 2023 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in Nonfiction Literature.
