The evening will feature a service led by Rabbi Brenner, plain-sense explanations of the religious aspects of the holiday, shofar blowing, meditation and more. We will also be hosting Rosh Hashanah morning servies on Saturday, September 12 at 10am at Brooklyn Bowl. We will be announcing Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur services in the coming weeks.Sarah Chandler will also lead a special teaching. Sarah Chandler is a Brooklyn-based Jewish educator, artist, activist, healer, and poet. She teaches, writes, and consults on issues related to Kabbalistic dreamwork, earth-based spiritual practices, mindfulness, and farming. As the CEO of Shamir Collective (shamircollective.org), she advises high-profile and emergent musicians and authors on self management, fundraising, and long-term planning.
