Join us for an evening of heart-opening connection and intuitive creativity. We’ll begin by sharing a warm cup of ceremonial cacao, a sacred plant known for its gentle, heart-centered energy. Cacao has long been used to support inner clarity and emotional openness—and it also has the power to amplify creative expression.
As we settle into the present moment, we’ll tap into our unique artistic expression. Using watercolor as our medium and guided by some gentle prompts, you’ll be invited to release expectations and connect with your inner rhythm and creative flow. In this experience, we’ll explore painting as a meditative practice, where the act of creation is more important than the outcome.
No experience is necessary—this is a space to connect, be inspired and create from within.
Carin is a New York City-based artist and educator who enjoys the intersection of visual art, mindfulness, and creative ritual. With a background in painting and graphic design, her practice spans studio arts, digital media, and photography. Her teaching is rooted in a belief of child-centered learning and the transformative power of self-expression and creativity. She has taught students and adults of all ages, led mindfulness practices for elementary school students and facilitated a girls’ empowerment program that integrates movement, dance, and peer discussions.
Alongside her work in the classroom and the arts, Carin has pursued in-depth training in meditation, mindfulness, and sound modalities. These studies have both deepened her personal practice and expanded her ability to guide others in cultivating presence and inner awareness.
Carin is also passionate about creating and sharing chocolate which led to the launch of her company Chocolate for Change. In her workshops, Carin often weaves together her passions—art, cacao, meditation, and music—to create unique heart centered experiences that invite creativity, reflection, and connection.
