Bovino:Commander Greg Bovino has nearly three decades of experience leading complex border security, law enforcement, intelligence, and strategic operations for U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Homeland Security. His proven success directing large-scale organizations of more than 1,100 personnel, multimillion-dollar budgets, and mission-critical operations across land, coastal, and international borders have driven measurable improvements in security, operational effectiveness, employee engagement, and interagency collaboration.He has been recognized for building high-performing teams, implementing innovative technologies and data-driven strategies, and forging strong partnerships with federal, state, local, international, and community stakeholders. His strong leadership has been over a variety of initiatives that significantly increased narcotics interdictions, reduced border fatalities and illegal crossings, strengthened counterintelligence capabilities, modernized enterprise operations, and fostered an inclusive culture of leadership and accountability throughout the organization.Commander Bovino holds two master’s degrees; one in National Security Strategy from the National War College, and the other in Public Administration from Appalachian State University. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Natural Resources Management and Forestry from Western Carolina University.
