Ki Smith Gallery in NYC hosts an evening of music projects by Housecatnick!

Housecatnick's original music journey started in NYC, writing as an acoustic solo musician, as a bandleader, and as a composer for commercials, short film and more. He has performed in numerous East Village cafes, off off Broadway theaters, to Prospect Park's bandshell.

Leaving NYC in the early 2000s to pursue his visual art career, he has re-established himself as a composer in New Jersey, most notably with the mach II version of Rusty Monks - a horn driven funk-rock band originally conceived in NYC.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the return of Housecatnick to his stomping grounds!

The evening will start with Housecatnick's roots as an acoustic performer. A relatively new project, Lockdown Lucy, categorized as having original folk-rock-blues leanings, takes the second set. The night ends with his main project, Rusty Monks!

The evening encapsulates his musical compositions spanning four decades!
