This afternoon session has been added.In this workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of perspective through a few simple techniques which are easy to use when sketching on location. Together, we'll work through a scene step by step, building confidence and understanding as we go.We'll begin with quick thumbnail sketches to explore the key concepts and identify the underlying structure of the scene. From there, we'll develop a loose pencil sketch to establish perspective, composition, and scale. The idea is to improve your sketching in your own style, so bring what you use. If that kit doesn’t already include a 12” ruler and a pencil, bring those also.If you are not an urban sketcher, the minimum you need to make the workshop the most effective would be:A sketchpad, sketchbook, or loose paper. Size doesn’t matter too much, but I would suggest an 8 x10" size or larger. If you bring loose paper also bring a clipboard, art board or some other way of supporting the paper.
