Registration for the morning workshops are 40.00. It is $30.00 per competition for the afternoon events. There is no fee to be a spectator at the competition.This event will be hosted by Mòd Gold Medalist and BBC Alba’s SpeakGaelic presenter, Joy Dunlop.Mòd Competition details:Solo singing competition - Each competitor will perform one song.* The winner will be crowned 2026 New York City Tartan Week Mòd Champion and win a prizeof $125, sponsored by the New York Caledonian Club. They will also receive an invitation to sing at the Pre-Parade Ceilidh and at Bryant Park the morning of the parade;Poetry Recitation competition - Each competitor will perform one poem.* The winner of this competition will receive a 12 month subscription to WeeBox, sponsored by WeeBox.Vocal Harmony Competition - Each group will perform one song. Groups can be of any size from small ensembes to choirs*The winner of this competition win a prize of $125, sponsored by the New York Caledonian Club.
