- **Event Name**: Homeschool Field Day
- **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 16 Oct, 2026 at 10:00 am – Fri, 16 Oct, 2026 at 02:00 pm
- **Event Description**: HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES!!! THIS DAY IS FOR YOU!

New Windsor Recreation is excited to invite our local homeschooling community to our Homeschool Field Day: a FREE afternoon created especially for homeschool families to get outside, have some fun, meet other families, and enjoy a good old-fashioned field day together!

Friday, October 16
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Kristi Babcock Memorial Park
FREE for all ages!

We know that homeschool families are always looking for opportunities to connect, socialize, explore and enjoy activities together, so we’re putting together a day that is equal parts field trip, field day and family meet-up!

Families can look forward to field games and challenges, plenty of opportunities for kids to play and interact, a take-home craft and selfie station, and we’ll wrap up the fun with an ice cream social finale!

Pack a picnic! Families should bring their own lunch, blankets or chairs and plan to spend the day with us at the park.

One important note: This is a family event, not a drop-off program. Parents and guardians attend alongside their children and must register themselves as attendees as well. Children must remain supervised by an adult throughout the event.

And because we want to plan appropriately for everyone joining us, advance online registration is required, even though the event is completely FREE!

If you’re part of a homeschool family, homeschool co-op or know someone who is, please share this post and help us spread the word. We’d love to bring together homeschool families from New Windsor and the surrounding area for a day of fun, friendship and community.

Grab your homeschool crew, pack your lunch and come spend Field Day with us! We can’t wait to see you on October 16!
