We are planning a fun MINI Drive on June 20, Saturday morning starting from the parking lot (across from Value Village) at Starlight Casino in New Westminster at 9am (please arrive before 9:15am), and driving to Westham Island along River Road to Delta, where there is a lovely bird sanctuary to explore, photograph and feed the birds. There is limited parking available, so currently we have managed to secure up to 20 parking spots for our MINIs, for those club drivers who RSVP by Wed, June 17th end of day on this page. Please note that usually reservations are needed to visit this sanctuary, but we've gotten this special permission to get these spots in advance. Updates to the number of reserved cars currently has been posted into the comments section.  If you don't RSVP by the deadline, you'll mostly likely need to separately book your own spot through the website: https://www.reifelbirdsanctuary.com/. Please note that there is an entrance fee of $10 per person, though parking is FREE (but does need the reservation). You are permitted to feed the birds with bird feed that can be purchased at the park. No dogs are permitted into the sanctuary. Drop a message in the comments if you have any further questions!
