Halloween is back on the Quayside Boardwalk!
On Thursday, October 31 from 5–7 PM, the New West Quayside Boardwalk Promenade will transform into a safe, traffic-free Halloween route for families.
Quayside Residents:
Help bring the Boardwalk to life!
Set up your own candy station — a chair, a bowl of treats, maybe a pumpkin or a few lights — and join your neighbours in making this a truly community-powered celebration. Encourage your strata and neighbours to help!
The more resident-run stations we have, the more magical the evening will be for kids and families.
Families:
Bring your little ghouls and goblins in costume and enjoy a fun, car-free evening of trick-or-treating. Stop by Family Place’s activity station and treat table behind 960 Quayside Dr., and don’t miss the Rivermarket Halloween Scavenger Hunt for extra fun!

Join the River Market Scavenger Hunt this year — the perfect lead-up to Trick-or-Treat on the Boardwalk. 🧡

👻 Pick up a scavenger hunt passport at one of the 14 participating River Market shops.
🍭 Hunt for the hidden paper candy corns in each store.
🖊️ Get your passport stamped or signed when you find them.
🎁 Complete your passport for a chance to win prizes from our amazing local businesses.
Then… 🎉
On Halloween night, Oct 31, from 5–7 PM, bring your completed passport to Family Place’s Trick-or-Treat on the Boardwalk (behind 960 Quayside Dr) for a special prize draw — donated by the very businesses you visited!
This is a free, family-friendly way to explore local shops all month long, and then come together on the traffic-free Boardwalk for a safe, festive Halloween night with neighbours, businesses, and friends.
