- **Event Description**: The New Westminster Police Department is partnering with the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) to offer free electronics recycling. Spring cleaning is an ideal time to get rid of unwanted electronics while protecting your electronic data and personal information.

ERA will data clean your items, and then recycle or refurbish the equipment. Items can be dropped off through the drive-through pick up or you can park and unload your items with the help of our volunteers.

Please note: Remote Management must be disabled or
removed prior to ERA collecting the equipment. Once equipment is donated to ERA, remote access will be strictly prohibited to prevent potential data breaches in refurbished or redistributed devices. All passwords and security features, such as BIOS locks, must be removed from any equipment before being donated to
ERA.
