Death Cafes help people talk about death and dying in a supportive, unstructured way.The Death Cafe model was developed by Jon Underwood and Sue Barsky Reid. It’s based on the ideas of Bernard Crettaz, a Swiss sociologist who believed that speaking about death made people less afraid of it and considered death to be “a lesson in life”.
