'A Life for the Revolution'

State Street Theater Co. & Director Lorie Jewell invite performers to audition for 'A Life for the Revolution,' a compelling historical drama based on the true story of Ludwig Bogen.

Casting Notes:
All roles will be played by adult actors.
Performers should be comfortable portraying historical characters and engaging in thoughtful, dialogue-driven storytelling.
Actors of all backgrounds and abilities are encouraged to audition.

Auditions will be held at the State Street Theater on the following dates:
Thursday, January 29 | 6:00–7:30 PM
Saturday, January 31 | 1:00–2:30 PM
Tuesday, February 3 | 6:00–7:30 PM
Saturday, February 7 | 1:00–2:30 PM

Please prepare:
A 1–2 minute monologue
A cold reading from the script with a scene partner (sides will be provided)

Performance Dates:
Saturday, May 16 at 7:00 PM
Sunday, May 17 at 2:00 PM

Following the Sunday matinee, audiences are invited to a special playwright talkback session with German playwright Erich Becker.
