In New Town, October sparks a profound community spirit that culminates in the highly anticipated New Town HarvestFest. Co-hosted by Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College and the New Town Chamber, this beautiful celebration honors local culture, collaboration, and hospitality. As the leaves transform into brilliant hues of amber and gold, the community welcomes everyone to a day of joy, connection, and purposeful sharing—reminding us all that is gratitude season. At the heart of the festival is a vibrant local market environment. The New Town Farmers Market setup allows area vendors, artisans, and growers to display exceptional local craftsmanship, seasonal produce, and home-baked goods. Creativity takes center stage with the competitive Pumpkin Decorating Contest, hosted by the New Town City Library.
