Santa Clause is coming to New Smyrna by train

The Florida East Coast Santa Train is coming.

Saturday December 6th .

IF you want to meet Santa and get a good closeup look then you want to go to New Smyrna Beach. Take I-95 down to SR 44 follow that east. Just before the big bridge over the yard, take a right on Myrtle Ave. After your turn the next road to the left will lead into the rail yard. This is usually an off limits area but is open. When in the yard area take a left follow the road to a parking area.

In the past, we have waited at Canal St and US1, so this may also be available. There Iparkinf lot there for tour convenience and Canal St is closed to traffic then since the train is across the road.

The train is due to arrive at 5:15 pm at the yard and will hang out for 30 minute to an hour depending on the crowd.
