About the Exhibition:
Nature has always been the artist’s greatest teacher. Growing up in Ohio, she was surrounded by forests, streams, and the quiet presence of animals that sparked an early love for the natural world. Over the past twenty years, life in Florida has deepened that connection, introducing her to a vibrant landscape filled with lush plants, delicate insects, and a rhythm of life that continues to inspire her work.
This new collection is a celebration of that lifelong dialogue with nature. Each piece, whether it reflects the form of a bird, the curve of a flower, the pattern of a leaf, or the texture of bark, honors the beauty and resilience found in the living world. Through clay, she captures the organic shapes and patterns that surround us, grounding each vessel and sculpture in the language of nature.
Her hope is that these works invite viewers to pause and reconnect with the wonder of the natural world, the small details, the fleeting moments, and the enduring presence of life that quietly thrives all around us.
