While touring the property, participants will learn how land managers and land management technicians restore land to natural habitats and manage the land for conservation, natural resource protection, and recreation.** Important note: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program. Waivers can be downloaded at Explore Volusia and completed ahead of time.** Some GPS devices and phone apps will take you to the wrong location. Please confirm the meeting place and directions ahead of time. There will be some easy, short walks.RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmation email, you are not registered.TICKETS: No printed ticket is necessary.AGES: All ages are welcome.ATTIRE: closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing for the outdoors** Some of our trails have mud and/or standing water because they are located in wetland ecosystems and because of seasonal rains and high tides. We recommend you bring a pair of waterproof boots in addition to your regular hiking shoes if you don't want your shoes to get wet.
