We’ll discuss how these amazing organisms construct habitat for wildlife, protect our shorelines, and provide an abundance of seafood for residents of Volusia County.**Important note: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to organize gear and complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program. You can download and complete a waiver ahead of time by visiting Explore Volusia.** Some map apps and GPS devices will take you to the incorrect location. Children must be accompanied by an adult.ATTIRE: Wear appropriate clothing for the outdoors and closed-toe shoes that can get wet.WHAT TO BRING: Watercraft (kayak, canoe, or SUP), personal flotation device (must be worn while paddling), emergency whistle, water to drink, sunscreen, and bug spray** Six, single sit-on-top kayaks (plus gear) are available at no cost. You can reserve one in the "add-ons" section under "tickets." You must have a general admission ticket for each person reserving a kayak.
