Join us on Thursday, April 9th to Share Our Research with Everyone (ShORE) on the Indian River Lagoon - held from 8:30am-2:30pm at the Brannon Center in NSB!
Join us as we bring awareness to conservation issues impacting the Lagoon and our community through the sharing of student and professional programs and projects that are making a difference.
WHAT IS IT?
This annual event features a collaborative gathering of residents, students, researchers, educators, artists, creators, conservationists, business leaders and policy makers for a day of education, stewardship and community engagement.
THIS YEAR'S EVENT
This year's theme, "Yes, In My Backyard!", illustrates actions that locals and visitors can take to support the health of the Indian River Lagoon now and into the future. Presentations will highlight programs that foster greater understanding of the IRL and will inspire positive actions at a community level that can create a ripple effect of change. Up-and-coming high school and undergraduate students will share their research ideas and inspire the community.
Our 2026 event features a keynote presentation by Chad Crawford, Creative Director of Crawford Entertainment, titled “How to Do Florida and Flip my Florida Yard.” As a native Floridian, Chad Crawford has always loved his home state, and he’s made it his mission to share it with the world. He’s often called Florida’s Ambassador for this very reason. As a 5 time Emmy award winning TV producer, he uses his platforms to create fans of Florida, but more importantly, creating advocates for Florida.
