- **Event Description**: Join us for a star-weaving workshop to welcome te tau hou Māori, the Māori New Year. As the stars Matariki and Puanga rise in the winter skies, this is a time for reflection, remembrance, and new beginnings. 
 
Inspired by the collaborative installation Star Waka, featured in He Tukutuku Auahatanga: Maureen Lander with Community. We will guide participants in creating their own whetū (star) to honour this celestial celebration. 
 
All materials provided. Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
