Sausage Sizzle in aid of I Am Hope

New Zealand has an unacceptable rate of suicide - not that any rate is acceptable except no rate.

On Sunday 7 December some of us from the Mount Egmont Lodge No. 670 EC (you can check out our Facebook page for more information about us) are running a sausage sizzle outside Mitre 10 Mega in The Valley between 9:00 and 3:30 to raise funds to support the Mike King "I Am Hope" foundation.

There's a lot of misinformation out there about the foundation - we all know how that works - but the bottom line is that there are a lot of people who need help and one way is to support the I Am Hope foundation.

So why not come along, grab yourself a juicy sausage for $2:50 for a late breakfast, lunch or afternoon smoko or just make a donation. Otherwise wave a cheery hello and wish us luck :)
