NPGHS Open Day for Hostel & School

The students of New Plymouth Girls' High School invite students and whānau to join us at our Open Day on Thursday 24 July 2025.

We would love to show you around and give you a taste of what our school and hostel have to offer. Our Kura is about opportunities and there is something here for everyone - come along and see for yourself!

Scotlands Hostel will be open from 1.00 - 3.00pm for everyone interested in learning about boarding opportunities at our Kura. You can tour the hostel, speak to students and staff and join us for afternoon tea.
Then you can walk down and join in the school’s open evening.

We invite you to join us from 3.30pm for a tour of the school, where you are able to speak with students and staff and hear of their experiences of NPGHS. Please meet at the hall to join a tour.

At 4.45pm please join us in the hall for a presentation on our school and the opportunities that we have to offer.

After the presentation tours of the school will recommence at 5.30pm.
