Open to all car enthusiasts, please confirm on the New Plymouth Rodders Facebook Event, your attendance, so we have an idea of numbers.
Sat 6th Dec - Leaving the New Plymouth Club from 1pm, expecting to end 4pm-ish. Park in the NPDC Car Park by the sea, opposite the New Plymouth Club (Molesworth Street, carpark).
If you park in the Club's parking, as soon as you arrive at the club, please make sure you validate your vehicle registration on the iPad at the bar or bistro. You will need to sign back in when you return at the end of the run if you park in the Club’s car park again.
Bring your donation over to the Club and register. Departures from the Club will be staggered from 1pm.
As usual, this event is to support the Salvation Army's support of families at Christmas.
This year, at their request, due to the hardship many families are experiencing, entrants are asked to provide food donations or gifts to the value of at least $20 value, which will go to ensure struggling families get to enjoy a Christmas Dinner.
Toys/gifts are welcome this year for all ages, too, so the Salvation Army can give those who may not be able to afford a lot this year the opportunity to take something home to gift to their children.
Get behind it as it's all going to a great cause!
An idea of items requested by the Salvation Army team;
Gifts for all ages, including Toys (Please write the age on the front of your wrapped gift),
Food items: Hams, stuffing, Frozen peas, Tinned peas, Gravy Packets, Crackers, Chips, Jelly, Pavlova, Tinned Fruit, Fruit Mince Pies, Long-life cream, Custard powder, Chocolates/Lollies, Biscuits, Christmas Crackers, Christmas Cards.
Decorations, Onion Soup, Reduced Cream, Juice/Fizzy Drinks, Gift vouchers.
Please give any frozen items to the New Plymouth Rodder team member to place in a freezer.
Thanks to The New Plymouth Club for providing a special licence so non-members can participate in this worthwhile event at the New Plymouth Club.
