Looking for a fantastic day out with the family or a nostalgic trip down memory lane? The Pahiatua Railcar Society is thrilled to present the Inglewood Explorer - a series of exclusive heritage railcar rides operating right out of New Plymouth over Labour Weekend!

Step aboard our magnificent Standard Railcar RM31 “Tokomaru” for a delightful, family-friendly return trip to the historic town of Inglewood. It is the perfect way to experience the charm of vintage rail travel without taking up your entire weekend.

To make it easy to fit into your holiday plans, we are running 5 return trips daily on both Saturday 24 October and Sunday 25 October 2026.

Whether you want an early morning escape or a mid-afternoon cruise through the Taranaki landscape, there is a departure time to suit everyone.
