After the inward turning of winter, something begins to stir. Spring invites us to slowly emerge from hibernation, unfurl, turn our faces toward the sun and become curious about life again.

Nectar is a somatic dance journey exploring the meeting place between self and world - that beautiful place where we can stay rooted in ourselves while becoming more open and receptive to connection, pleasure and aliveness.

Like a flower opening to light, air, rain and the insects and ecosystem around it, we are also part of a living web of relationship. Nectar both nourishes and invites us into connection. It draws us toward sweetness, warmth, colour, scent, sensation, play and the deliciousness of being alive.

Through movement, music and exploration, we’ll explore the experience of emerging through the body - softness and strength, opening and receiving. We’ll play with curiosity, connection, maybe a little mischief, allowing ourselves to be seen and to meet the world without losing ourselves.

There is a time for turning inward, for resting and retreating, and there is a time to emerge. Nectar is an invitation into that becoming - to unfurl, to open, to participate in life and to let ourselves be nourished by what is around us.

Perhaps we might even allow ourselves to be a little pollinated by life. ??

Come as you are, bring your senses, your curiosity and your willingness to play.

Dance Temple Nectar invites you to come out of hibernation and turn your face toward the sun.


WHAT TO EXPECT
6:00PM - Doors open for gentle arrival, connection, exploration of the space and a blessing on arrival.
6:30PM - We move into circle with a Spring Tea Blend to prepare our Temple Bodies.
From here the guided journey begins with with Claire leading the experience alongside Lioness on the decks with a live DJ set.
8.45PM - We close with integration and shared supplied kai to nourish body and spirit.

Dance Temple is a sacred act of co-creation - between body and soul, sound and silence, self and source.
It is a ceremony of liberation. A dance of remembrance.
A space where movement becomes medicine and presence becomes prayer.
We gather in common{unity}, moving with curiosity, play, and presence.
We return to the wisdom of the body, to what is ancient and true.

Natasha’s sets blend somatic awareness with soul-stirring beats, creating journeys that invite connection, release, and remembrance.

TEMPLE KEEPERS:
Lovingly held and supported by Temple Keepers all weaving their magic into the co-creation of each offering and facilitating individual offerings.

Our Temple Keepers have all trained in Somatic Dance with Sarsha Hope and Stephen Blase within Somatic Dance International - This means we have collectively over a 1000hours of experience from training and assisting and also holding our own individual spaces.


WHAT IS SOMATIC DANCE?
Somatic Dance is an invitation to move freely - no matter your age, experience, or rhythm. It’s a space to express, release, and return to yourself through movement, music, and presence.

Here, we dance to feel - not to perform.
You’ll be gently held in a container that encourages deep listening to your body, emotions, and energy. There are no right steps - only your steps.
Come as you are. Move as you feel. Every cue is an invitation, never an obligation

This is NOT a dance class.
No choreography. No pressure. Just pure, embodied exploration.
