The Hudson Valley’s favorite celebration of handmade, The Woodstock-New Paltz Art & Crafts Fair, returns to the Ulster County Fairgrounds Labor Day weekend. This long-standing event is a gathering of hundreds of the country’s most creative small businesses.
Promoted by Quail Hollow Events and consistently voted one of the top 10 contemporary craft shows nationwide by Sunshine Artist Magazine and best Art & Crafts Fair by Hudson Valley Magazine, the fair teems with handmade wares from carefully curated exhibitors. Artists share their work via meaningful one-on-one interactions, and visitors enjoy learning the history of the objects and engaging with the maker of the unique pieces they purchase.
Visitors will delight in ongoing craft demonstrations, a variety of small-batch artisanal and prepared-on-site foods and, of course, local wine, beer, and spirits. Live musical performances round out this broad celebration of handmade. This is a family-friendly event, with a complimentary supervised children’s art & crafts tent dedicated to inspiring our youngest makers. Children under 12 are FREE.
