Nothing but sky at the top and nothing but vistas through the conifers on this hike~About this EventCarson's hike has carriage trails, rock scrambles, boulder caves, a sense of adventure and accomplishment and incredible views and unforgettable experiences!Our hike is a combination of primitive and carriage trails, air conditioned boulder caves, and a fun yet challenging rock scramble (bypass available).The rock scramble is moderate for most although it can be psychologically challenging especially for adults who have amassed fears over time.Ride shares available depending on drivers. The contribution is $35 cash if you need a ride. The ride is approximately 1:45 min. long to the foothills to the Catskills.Anyone joining the group for the hike needs to register.There is a Mohonk Preserve Park Use fee: ~$15 per person. Paid upon to Ranger at the parking lot entrance.It is free to join the group and tag along.In case of rain forecast, the decision will be confirmed Friday as to start time or cancellation.
