New African Orleans is the thrilling new project from acclaimed bassist, vocalist, and composer Alune Wade. Blending Afrobeat and jazz, Wade traces the deep connections between West African rhythms, Lagos grooves, and the bold brass sounds of New Orleans. “I explore a world from my Senegalese roots to the lost branches across the Atlantic...
