Stephanie is finally makin' 40!!!

The birthday we've all been waiting for... my 40th!!! Officially becoming an adult!!

Yes, I know it is 6 months away but I wanted to give all of my out of town family and friends plenty of time to make travel arrangements since it falls on a weekend. Hotels and airfare should be affordable as it is considered the end of our "off season" in NOLA and right before the holiday prices will spike. There are also some big name hotels out in Chalmette where I live which may be even cheaper than downtown hotels (Chalmette is 15 minutes from the French Quarter).

MRB is an amazing local bar in the French Quarter owned by my friends with 2 courtyards, indoor seating, a pool table, plenty of games, college football will be on, amazing drinks, over 100 beers, and quite possibly there will be a band!

MRB has THE BEST oysters in the quarter (they've won awards) and their kitchen is also amazing. Likely there will be potluck food as well.

It's the Saints bye week so maybe a Sunday brunch or pool hang to recover will end up in the works!

Come join me for a weekend in NOLA as I crest into my elderly years!!!
