Rose Thorn Garden is bringing Peggy Martin Rose lovers together in the heart of New Orleans for a one-of-a-kind celebration honoring one of the most beloved and resilient roses in the South.

Join us July 24, 2027, for the very first Peggy Martin Takeover — a full day dedicated to the Peggy Martin Rose, gardening, propagation, fellowship, and the incredible story behind this Southern treasure.

And yes… Ms. Peggy Martin herself will be joining us!

This will be more than an event. It will be a gathering of gardeners, rose lovers, growers, collectors, and friends from across the country coming together to celebrate the rose that has inspired so many.

🌹 WHAT TO EXPECT:
• Meet and celebrate with Ms. Peggy Martin
• Special recognition and guests
• Peggy Martin Rose history and stories
• Propagation demonstrations and gardening education
• Live Q&A sessions
• Silent Plant Auction
• Plant Bingo
• Raffles and giveaways
• Sip & Swap
• Music and fellowship
• Special Peggy Martin Takeover merchandise
• Opportunities to connect with fellow gardeners from across the country
• And plenty of surprises along the way!

We are also working to bring special guests, speakers, sponsors, and other exciting experiences to New Orleans as we build this celebration into an annual event.
