LSU Health Camp Ramp Up

Camp Ramp Up is hosted by the Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic at LSU Health Sciences Center, located in downtown New Orleans. At this teaching institution, speech-therapy services are provided by graduate student clinicians, under the careful supervision of fully licensed and certified speech-language pathologists.

Our Camp Ramp Up speech-language pathologists have specialized training and experience in reading instruction and intervention. Our graduate student clinicians have completed advanced coursework in language and literacy development, in preparation for their involvement in Camp Ramp Up. We are all excited to work with your child on building and reinforcing their reading skills in time for the next school year!

• What? A fun and educational literacy camp for back-to-school reading readiness
• Who? Children entering grades 1–4 who may be on-level or struggling readers
• When? Monday, July 28 – Friday, August 1, 2025 from 9:00 am–12:00 pm
• Where? LSU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, 9th Floor of 1900 Gravier St., NOLA 70112
• How Much? The cost is $400 per camper, plus a $50 screening fee
