And we are blessed that he chooses Chickie Wah Wah as the place to do a residency with one of his favorite acts in South Louisiana, his old friends the Iguanas. A fixture of the New Orleans music scene for over three decades, the Iguanas blend Tejano and Conjunto sounds from the Texas/Mexico border region with Blues, Jazz and New Orleans R&B, and the fiery passion of the music of the Caribbean and Mexico. Their songs can bring you to tears. Tonight the Iguanas will start with a full set of their own music, and then Sonny will close the show with a set of his own.
