The 2025 Jazz & Heritage Concert Series, produced by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation and presented by Goldfarb Financial, continues with a fusion of Afro-Cuban and funk with pianist Lawrence Sieberth's Estrella Banda with special guests Thommy Lowry and Bart Platteau!
Lawrence Sieberth's Estrella Banda performs his original compositions penned from his love for Latinesque music. Whether it be Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, or Caribbean, he fuses these rhythmic vocabularies with his own musical innovation. Joining Lawrence on stage are Cuban-born and Miami-based trumpeter Thommy Lowry and famed flutist and Belgian native Bart Platteau.
Doors open at 7 pm, and the concert begins promptly at 8 pm.
Tickets are $10, available here on Eventbrite.
Seating is general admission and limited, so please register in advance. All proceeds from this concert series directly support the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation.

About Lawrence Sieberth
Pianist, composer, and producer Lawrence Sieberth is at home in virtually any musical setting. While based in jazz, Lawrence’s musical vision is not limited by genre barriers—he prefers to integrate the many facets of music and performance into an engaging, inclusive experience. His own neobop improvisations and experimental inclinations combine with his classical and world music influences, providing an extensive musical vocabulary for both performances and compositions for television, film, and stage.
His local ensembles vary from New Orleans traditional to questing improvisations, from the avant-garde to mainstream jazz and R&B. He has performed at virtually every venue in New Orleans, from small clubs to the annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, where he has been a regular featured artist and musical director for over 30 years. His collaborations with notable local performers include: Johnny Adams, Charles Neville, Allen Toussaint, Irma Thomas, Tony Dagradi, John Vidacovich, Luther Kent, Brian ‘Breeze’ Cayolle, Victor Goines, and Jason Marsalis. He presently performs and tours with Gerald French & the Original Tuxedo Jazzband and vocalist Germaine Bazzle.
