Join us to celebrate Indies First with us this Small Business Saturday, happening all day at Octavia Books.
Indies First, part of the national movement in support of independent bookstores, happens every year in conjunction with Small Business Saturday, following Thanksgiving.
We are featuring some special authors signing books including Walter Isaacson (THE GREATEST SENTENCE EVER WRITTEN) at 11 a.m.; Dustin Hughes (SNEAUX DAY IN NEW ORLEANS) at noon; Elisa M. Speranza (THE ITALIAN PRISONER) at 1 p.m.; and Donna Poniatowski Sims (DONNA'S BAR & GRILL NEW ORLEANS) at 2 p.m.
We will also feature Louisiana artist Bailey Simon-Sherman starting at at 11 a.m. who will represent her sustainable fine art stationary brand Papillons de Pervenche, now available through Octavia Books.
And, we will offer special gifts, including our new Octavia Books embroidered caps and a new special edition Octavia Books T-shirt.
