HexFest 2026: A Weekend of Witchery in Old New Orleans

Tales of the magic of the Crescent City of New Orleans stretch back over centuries. It is an enigmatic place where Voodoo, Hoodoo, Witchcraft, and even Christianity intertwine at the crossroads of spiritual power. On August 7 to 9 2026, Brian Cain, Christian Day, and the Witches of New Orleans present HexFest: A Weekend of Witchery held in the heart of the historic French Quarter. The conference opens with a and dinner aboard an authentic steamboat on the Mississippi River, followed by of workshops, drumming, and ritual at —a venue steeped in haunting history. HexFest features Witches, rootworkers, Voodoo priests and other magical teachers from throughout New Orleans and the Mississippi Delta, each offering their time-honored wisdom. Between workshops, attendees can explore a curated selection of magical wares from local New Orleans shops Hex and Omen or mingle and share experiences with fellow attendees in an enchanting French Quarter courtyard garden.

HexFest registration includes admittance to all workshops, rituals, and performances at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel, passage, dining, and ritual aboard an authentic riverboat, participation in any included walking tours, and access to our shopping area and courtyard garden.
