Participants will learn the foundational techniques of traditional hand beading. Attendees will gain cultural insight, technical skill and creative confidence as they explore the artistry behind this longstanding craft. Participants will begin a beaded design on canvas.

What You’ll Learn

How to identify and select various types of beads and materials.

How to properly thread a needle and securely stitch beads for long-lasting designs.

Multiple beginner-friendly techniques for developing and executing bead patterns.

All workshops are conducted in a friendly and welcoming environment. All materials are provided. All levels are welcome.

Supplies provided, but personal materials are encouraged.
