- **Event Description**: Join us for our annual All Saints Day gathering. Bring photographs, candles, and other offerings for your loved ones who have passed away, and stay for a concert of traditional jazz and gospel led by trombonist Corey Henry followed by a candlelight procession to Lake Pontchartrain where we will be led in a short ritual by Oshun Priestess Sunni Patterson and Mami Wata priestess Sula Evans. Please gather in the courtyard of the Liberal Arts Building to help us build the altar and enjoy the music before we depart for the lake. Gumbo will be served! 

This event is organized with the wonderful gardens and farms we have collaborated with on our collaborative ethnography Botanica, which include Speak Easy Farm, Grow Dat Youth Farm, and Subtle Fields. Herbalist Rachael Reeves is preparing herbal offerings for the ancestors as well.
