Welcome to the 11th Annual Voodoo Conjure Festival (TM) 2025, by Voodoo Queen Kalindah Laveaux!  This is a celebration of New Orleans, Louisiana Voodoo and those of us who carry this tradition in our bloodlines.  We seek to provide authentic ritual experiences around the city, and re-educate the world about one of the most misunderstood and misrepresented traditions.  Come out and celebrate the New Orleans, Louisiana Voodoo New Year! It’s Voodoo Season!

Day 1 

Road Opener Libation
Thursday: 10/30 @ 3:30pm

Join us promptly at 3:30pm as we open the 11th Annual Voodoo Conjure Festival (TM) as we honor our ancestors at this historic location of one of largest ports and slave markets in the country.  We will clear the roads for the success of our Voodoo New Year celebrations. Handmade spiritual products will be available.

Pélé Voudou: Music Performance

Due to the current shutdown, the original event cannot not be held at the New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park this week. Instead, join us for an afternoon of traditional vocals and rhythms, as we raise the vibration with traditional Voodoo Songs, Creole Folk Songs, Originals, Jurés, and Spirituals.

This ritual of healing is dedicated to our enslaved African ancestors at the historic location of one of the largest ports and slave markets in the country.

Join us promptly at 1pm for a New Orleans All Saints Day tradition of visiting burial sites of our loved ones.  At this historical site, we will offer libations, songs, and prayers for ancestors known and unknown. We will secondline to the Backstreet Cultural Museum for next event from here.

Annual Tremé All Saints’ Day Commemoration

Join us in honoring Culture Bearers and loved ones who have passed on. We will honor them with prayers, libations, cleansings, a candlelit altar, and music performances.  Indians, Baby Dolls, Secondline Clubs, and Musicians are welcomed to participate.  Food and drinks will be provided.

We will discuss and put into practice traditional Voodoo ritual to heal and elevate our ancestors and living bloodlines from trauma and imbalance resulting from enslavement, abuse, and oppression of people of African descent.  We will discuss how the perpetuation of genetic diseases, mental illness, family curses, and current hardships can be remedied through specific ritual practices.

We will offer cleansing and blessings at the Ancestor Tree.  We celebrate the music, dance, spiritual, and cultural traditions of Congo Square.  We honor unique legacy of New Orleans, Louisiana Voodoo and the ancestral lineages who created and preserved these traditons. Bring offerings of WHOLE fruit (not cut), and flowers ONLY for the tree altar.
